About

Help us improve our Community Kitchen! We are looking for volunteers to assist with administering a survey to community members who receive meals through our kitchen. The goal is to gather valuable feedback about their experiences, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure we continue meeting the needs of our community.

Volunteer Details

Dates: October 26–November 6, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Location: Caritas of Austin – Community Kitchen (Surveying will take place outside while our community members line up to enter the dining hall)
Volunteer Capacity: 4 participants per day
Preferred Skill: Bilingual (English/Spanish)

*The minimum age to participate in this volunteer activity is 18. 

Volunteer Responsibilities

  • Approach community members in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Assist participants with completing the survey and answering questions as needed.
  • Help ensure feedback is collected accurately.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect participants’ responses.

Volunteer Qualifications

  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable communicating with diverse community members.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Able to commit to the full 10:30 AM–12:00 PM shift.
